Camino al Arte offers a tranquil and sustainable environment for artists and musicians to come together. It is a space for creativity and community, where artists from diverse backgrounds and disciplines can come together and focus on their creative endeavors.
Our Artists residence is located in a historic property situated on 50-acres of private land in the town of Fredericksburg, VA. The natural setting provides a conducive place for creativity, inspiration and focused work.
Our Artists Residency program offers a sanctuary for artists to recharge, refocus, enjoy nature and let creativity flow.

The Residence
The residence is a spacious 18th century colonial style home which has been updated to modern standards while preserving much of its original charm. There is also plenty of outdoor patio space for guests to enjoy.
Accommodations
The residence offers multiple spacious bedrooms, many with private bathrooms and basic amenities.
There is a shared kitchen and common bathrooms throughout the house.
Music Studio
There is a fully functioning music studio available for use. It is equipped with multiple instruments and an impressive sound system.
Take part in a jam session or book a session for private use.
Space for Creativity
The historic residence is spacious and offers plenty of common areas to lounge and work. Warm up next to the grand fireplace or relax in the sunroom.
High speed internet access is provided.
The Farm
The property features a fully sustainable farm, complete with animals and a working barn.
A short walk from the main house, the farm is open and accessible to all residents.
Campsites
Multiple campsites are available throughout the property for visitors or artists to retreat and draw inspiration from the natural surroundings.
Rentals are available year-round.
The Great Outdoors
The natural surroundings of the property provide a peaceful atmosphere conducive to introspection and creativity. It features a pond, hiking trails, walking paths, a creek overlook, a pond and plenty of areas to relax and take in nature.
Microgreen Harvesting
We grow microgreens, herbs and other organic produce at an indoor facility on the property.
Purchase a plot and enjoy fresh greens daily.
Farm Fresh Food & Activities
Enjoy organic farm fresh eggs from many free range chickens residing on farm property.
We host monthly community events, including farming workshops, BBQ’s, farm tours, and volunteer events.
